Salesmen is a four-piece rock band that originated in The Hague in 2020. They first took the stage in 2022 with a Benelux tour where they promoted their first EP ‘One More, Please‘.
With the help of an overwhelmingly successful crowdfunding campaign, the band released their debut album ‘Cheap Suckers’. The release was celebrated with a nearly sold out show at PAARD in The Hague and was followed by a subsequent Benelux tour.
“The neon sign shows they’re open, open for business.“
Cheap Suckers’ is a work about money, a lot of money and the unfulfilled yearning for money. In particular, the stories in the album tell the tales about the human shortcomings associated with the desire for power and money. Salesmen advise on those shortcomings.
Salesmen do not just write songs; rather they offer musical odysseys that traverse the annals of rock history. Rooted in the raw energy of classic rock, Salesmen infuse their sound with influences spanning decades, creating a sonic tapestry that echoes the spirit of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Alice In Chains.
From the moment the first chords hit, their songs immerse the listener in a whirlwind of electrifying guitars, thunderous drum beats, and vocals that resonate with both power and purpose. The songs’s dynamic composition reflects the band’s diverse inspirations, seamlessly blending the raw intensity of hard rock with the introspective allure of progressive rock.
“We saw, we bought, we sold, our job here is done.“
